Cherrapunjee has the only Double-Decker Root Bridge in Asia. It takes hundreds of years of training the tree root by the locals from different generations so that it forms a bridge over the course of time.
Mawlynnong: Have you ever wanted to visit a green village that is also extremely clean? With its greenery and exquisite biodiversity, the Mawlynnong Village in Meghalaya is the first place that comes to mind. Also known as God's Own Garden, the alluring Mawlynnong village has received a title of being the cleanest village in Asia! Dawki: Umngot River, also known as Dawki Lake, is touted as the cleanest river in Asia. It flows through the Mawlynnong village in Meghalaya. The clear emerald green and crystal blue water of the Umngot River looks absolutely divine. Dawki Lake is so clear and pristine that even rocks, pebbles and fish swimming in it can be seen clearly. The boats look as if they are floating on a crystal glass surface.
